Not a Mustang but a Miata

Ponyboy66

Pole Position
Was at a local car show tonight with plenty of really nice Mustangs, including an AC Cobra. This ride really caught my eye. A Corvette engine installed in a Miata. Very interesting.

I'd buy it.......then yank the motor and trans, and slap it in my 240. Then sell the miata shell. It may be a Nissan, but at least it doesn't look like a buttplug.

LS fest is going on here locally. Took the wife out to dinner last night (in the Mustang), and we saw and heard a miata that was LS swapped. I was driving so I didn't get a picture but it was also still ugly. I bet it would do wicked donuts though!

I often find myself wondering why people put cash and effort into hot rodding some cars. First thing that springs to mind are all the ricer types. Hondas, etc. I get that for many these are what is available, etc. But damn. You can throw $20k into an Accord and make it fast as hell but it is still an Accord. Save up $10k and buy a slightly battered Mustang or Camaro or Chevelle or Fox or even high mileage newer muscle car. At least then you have something worthy of being proud to drive. Back when I had my supercharged Roush I had some fun racing EVOs and the like. Yeah they were quick and fast and if I picked the wrong one it could even beat me (thanks to all wheel drive ) but when the race was done and we cruised off at least I was driving a hot looking car and not an ugly econobox. Old man rant over.

You should read some of the posts about hot rodding Escapes! Fo real [emoji849]
