Hey Steve, as Freddy Prince would say 'Looooking Good!' I hope to be able to swing by this weekend (29-30) and check in. Looks like you added a window where the TV was so you can see people pulling up. Are you mostly at Pops or around the house on weekends?

the other one had a window there too, just usually kept the blinds closed at night. best to just give me a call before you drop by. with things so crazy right now, i'm not on a set schedule. just try to get out to pops & work when i can.

this is an exact replacement externally to what i had, i'm just making some changes inside. the builder even pulled the original build order from 96 & based this order on that. hope they have it finished outside next week. after the progress sat, there isnt much left but hanging a few pieces of metal & the doors. then it gets inspected, the insulation added & interior walls & ceiling attached. after that, wiring, lights & looking for a HVAC system. here's what they did today:

Congrats Steve, looking good I know you can't wait until it get done. Then you can get things back to normal and start doing what you enjoy.

Wow, looks like they added a doggy door :pbj

I guess that's why I never noticed the window as it was covered. I'll give you a call, I changed my cell to a local 615 number finally.

well, except for the two subcontract jobs (garage doors & ceiling insulation) the bldg was completed in 5 days. i've spent the last two days with a diamond grinder resurfacing the floor to prep for a new coating. if you've never used one of these consider yourself lucky. i can't hardly move tonite. those things beat the ca-ca out of you. kinda like driving a 40 ford with bad bias ply tires & worn kingpins on a bumpy road. :rant did go to the equipment place yesterday & put some more items in my "sold" pile. got a heckuva deal on a new mill, bandsaw, 9x48 belt sander/ 9" disc combo, & a 1500cfm air filtration system.

i upgraded the interior package with this one, 6" thick r-19 blanket insulation in the walls & 12" blown into the ceiling. you can see how thick the walls are now at the window frames. much better than the 1.75" styrofoam board in there before :thu

Gettin' close and lookin' good for sure. Bet it took more than a couple of :gs to fill the walls...... :roll
