Now I can post in Chrome

I still have Firefox, but I do not use that much anymore. But the point is why can I not post from Google Chrome. I get the error message that I have timed out. Also I will not let me log out. I just updated java, did that do it?

It's not your browser, I had the same problem using Firefox. Turns out I hadn't used the latest site address. Before you call B.S., check the address you're using. It should be "stangfix.com". Using the temporary numerical address still allows regular login and viewing of the posts. When you try to reply though, guess what you get?!

It took me about 20 minutes of head scratching before I figured it out after running into the same issues!

Problem solved! :pbj When I looked at the way Firefox had it in the browser sure enough. Added bonus now I have the Mustang Tribar back up there where it belongs. Thanks

I have the same problem at home and I don't use Firefox.

I also have used the SF.com address and not the numeric one and still it comes back "Logged on" and I cannot respond because it says 'timed-out'

I can't even log out.

Suggestions?
 
I have lowered the session length. Hopefully that will help.

Double check the url. You might be coming in under stangfix.com but once you click a topic it may add in the IP info. I had that problem last week.
