And then they say "we have nothing to worry about" Why does it bother me when Government officials say "trust me"! I really hope they are right and we are not going to get "fallout" this far away from Japan, I feel sorry for those affected over there..

What makes you think it'll stop at the west coast? :skul

Frank
I heard that it would get filtered out by the Rocky mountains and finally stop moving East by the time it got to Kansas. :yah
So all you glow sticks stay on your side of the Mississippi. :skul

It's all good - we east coasters get enough radiation from the coal fired power plants we use to produce the left coast's power :hide

I really feel for Japan they have now been nuked twice.

Utah has been dealing with fallout since the nuke tests in the 50s.

So here we go again.

I'm sure if the cloud made it somehow you wouldn't be exposed to anything near the levels of a chest xray or sitting in front of a tube television for a year while stuffing your face full of bananas.

Don't you suppose the government told all the soldiers during the testing in Nevada something close to that?

+1
We get more radiation from being outside in the sun every day than what MAY come our way. There are a bunch of Chicken Little's here in CA buying up iodine(?) pills. Idiots.
