Oh Canada!

I'm not sure which I enjoyed more...

The Canucks losing or seeing their fans acting like idiots.

Great that Boston won. It seemed the Canucks believed their own stats that it was theirs from the start. Great series.

As for the rioters. Those types are everywhere. Shame. Justice would be to find out where each live and allow people to steal from their homes and trash their places also.

That would be great!

There are enough very clear pictures of some of those idiots that I would bet many will face charges.

I believe rubber bullets and bean bag shotguns are in order.
As I get older I find that my stupidity tolerance levels drop faster

Nonlethal response? You are too nice. :sarc

I enjoy rooting for my team, but I see no reason to tear up a city because said team won/lost a game. That is only an excuse for stupid people that need to be removed from the gene pool one way or the other. :soapboxrant

here's what loouuu had to say...

When we lived in Detroit, wife had to see a Red Wings game, so we went. Our first time at the rink, we were late and came up the wrong aisle to get to our seats--had squeeze by 12 people where as if we came up the aisle on the other side, we would have to only squeeze by 9 or 10 people. I liked to have got my a$$ kicked for that--haven't been to a hockey game since.

You know the old saying..."went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out"

When I saw that story on the news, I asked myself " Who the frick do they think they are, Detroit?"

Goons.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mention Detroit in this post, not long.
Why :confu didn't you mention the other cities that have had riots after sporting championships, there have been quite a few, and some much
more violent than Detroits.
Yes Detroit does have a bad reputation and it does have it's problems, as does many other cities but why bring Detroit into this tread, we where out of these palyoff a couple of rounds ago.

Isn't Detroit part of Mississippi?

It's just plain fun to pick on Detroit!

LA comes to mind after the Lakies won at hoops. :roul

There probably is a Detroit, Mississippi. There also was a riot in San Francisco after the Giants beat Texas a few years ago.

I thought Detroit only burns down if their team WINS :wtf :yah

Well, since I brought it up, let me say we enjoyed the time we lived in Detroit. My wife became a huge jazz fan; great places to eat; I started looking for my Mustang after my first Woodward Dream Cruise; I had a great job and staff; four seasons, etc. Not like Texas where I live now, which plain sucks.

Nope, no Detroit here. And how did Mississippi get brought into this? We hate hockey. Now if there's a MS state/Bama game, then there's a possibility of riots.
