Oh My God!!!

That was the most impressive display of raw horsepower I have ever seen.

I was expecting him to loose control of all that power and hit one of those power poles.

And you just gotta love the "stink bug" look. At least he should get good gas milage, since he's always going downhill!!
 
Jacked up cars like that were common back in the mid 70s. N50-15 Peerless Sprint GT tires on Crager SS wheels wjth air shocks. Brings a nostalgic tear to my eye. Not that I ever did that to some poor Ford...

Of course I'm way too young to remember that, but my dad talks about those days all the time. I remember the car from "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot", it had that airlift crap and my dad said it was awesome.

i knew someone would admit to having those... i had the thrush decals like 67 fastback's av & a pair of hedman headers decals on my qtr windows for a while.....
