And the winner of the MBBII all-you-can-eat and then some, was yours truly with three plates piled up high! The BBQ pork was simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

I want to thank BeachPony and Mrs. BP for their incredible hospitality and generous support for this event. It went off without a hitch (well, except for Sanborn showing up late as usual...). Friday nite was spent at a restaurant where there was a lot of beverages drunk, then off to the hot spots of Myrtle Beach. Since it was Bike Week, there were quite a bit of nice scenery around (and some pretty awful ones too!). The best was a beer-tender. Those who were there will know what I'm talking about.

Saturday was spent golfing (goofing off?), and I managed to come in second. I was very surprised, but I had a number of bad holes of miniature golf. I guess everyone else was worse. We had a nice cruise down the boulevards, but apparently Myrtle Beach was forewarned, as no one was lining the sidewalks cheering us like we were promised. Off to dinner at the BP's residence, where we had a spark-plug changing contest, then a pig feast.

Oh, did you know we drank Myrtle Beach dry of Yukon Jack?

It was great to finally meet everyone who came, as I had not had the pleasure to do so before. Turns out some folks who rarely posted had several interests with me in common (drinking, among them!). Now if only I can remember their Internet names...

After 11 hours driving home as a bootlegger (14 cartons of cigs in the trunk at 60% of FL prices), I finally made it. Along the way, the bank called about possible fraudulent credit card purchases, but they turned out to be real. And no, I won't tell you her name! PM me, however, for her telephone number for the next time you make it to MB!

14 cartons across state lines? Aren't there any LEO's around here?

Glad to hear that you made it back safely Mid and I look forward to the next time to enjoy your company.

I thought I saw heavy smoke from the north side of town.

That should last him for a couple weeks at least.............................back when I smoked, whenever I had a lot of extras around, I seemed to unconsciously smoke more.

Glad to hear you made it home safe. I guess you made it through Charleston okay, otherwise I expect I may have heard from you. Thanks for making the trip up Randy, it was a pleasure! Hope we can do it again soon. I guess you have probably seen already, but Dave's pics have revealed the true path of the stars! :wor

Ron: 17 was a much nicer route than what I took to arrive, and it was 20 miles shorter as well. I stopped a number of times, though, so I still took 11 hours to drive the route. Your directions were perfect!

And I even passed a number of PT Cruisers on the way home...going uphill both ways with no shoes...in the snow.

Glad to hear it! You know how dangerous those P.T.'s can be! :yikes
