OOPS - Buried my tractor!

janschutz

Corn Hauler
I was moving some logs from a tree that fell across a fence Saturday, As I was turning around, I buried my tractor. The ground was real soupy there. It went down in a second, I was glad I was wearing my seat belt. I had to get a wench truck out to pull be out. The other tractor was not strong enough to pull it out.

You couldn't pull it out with the bucket?
No, the ground was too soft, it would just sink in the muck, I dumped the logs and tried pushing down on them to try and lift it up but the logs just sank.

Don't believe it . You were playing in the sandbox and thats what happend.

Just looking at the pics I don't see any sign that the ground would be that soft there. That's crazy how deep it went.

This are been known for shallow springs and we have had a lot of rain recently. 2 years ago, I had the pond cleaned out since it had silted up. They buried the excavator.

Perfect place to dispose of......never mind.
Are you hinting at the bear head? I already picked out a brush pile for it. Just need a calm day to burn. Winds were 10-20 mph last weekend making it too windy to burn. A video will be post after the event.
