Ouch!

Been there, done that. My son (3 at the time) and I were hit by a dumb b!tch, with known seizures. She blacked out (3rd known accident that she had caused) and hit us head on going 45+ mph.

I tried sueing her a$$ off, and got basically nothing. And this was her 3rd KNOWN offense of causing an accident. She should not have been driving.

It's a miserable feeling when you know you are about to get run into and can't do a darn thing about it.

I had an Escort back in college. Stopped in traffic one time that was stop and go trying to get into the Metallica show. I looked in my mirror and saw a guy coming at me and obviously not looking while doing probably around 40 mph. Never even thought about hitting the brakes when he slammed into us. That split second between when you look up and realize and the impact sucks and seems to go on forever. That one really did some damage to my little hatch back Escort...didn't total it though. Did more damage to the front because he rammed us into the back of the SUV in front of us.

Turns out in my case the idiot had dropped his cigarette between the seat and the console and was looking down trying to get it back instead of watching where he was going when he knew the traffic was stop / go.

There is nothing more miserable though then that helpless feeling when you are sitting there waiting for impact without a darn thing you can do about it.

Sorry man, that sucks=/ Here in CA, the DMV revokes your license if you're epileptic.

That must be in China. I've driven a lot of the roads in other asian countries and they almost always have incredibly large and scary looking inpenetrable barriers between the opposing lanes. In this case, instead of a barrier, it almost looks as if there's a launch pad between the two lanes.....
