By no means a beating....

a no run game with passing being very safe plays = boring game even if it was up to the last play.

I am by no means one of those Conspiracy Theory Nutjobs, but you have to wonder how the last few years there have been no more Super Bowl blowouts. Gotta keep the viewers tuned in to watch the million dollar commercials. :roll Yes football is a game, but more than that it is entertainment. The best games of the year are the playoffs. :part

I think it is more about the style of the game being played. There was once a big difference in the type of game played by the NFC compared to the AFC. Today, both conferences are playing similar games. Couple that with a more balanced talent level across the league and you get more competitive games.

Also, (and maybe more importantly) when you get two teams matched up that have top tier coaching talent it makes a big difference. Trust me, as a Bears fan I see many a good game get out of hand in the second half with a coaching staff that is incapable of making adjustments.

It was such a great game, I remember...none of it. Spent the game eating and talking to old neighbors that I don't get to see very often!

Did ya'll meet up at the Bingo parlor or something?

Old neighbors, meaning those that I lived close to before the move to Oregon. I don't have neighbors now.

Granted, they are OLD!

You mean that Lovee(sp?) Smith "duh" look is for real?
There is one person ruining the Bears of any success. Smith.
Go BEARS!!!

Your statement has been corrected.
