After much delay my container of precious parts will finally get moving this week and when it arrives in 18 days my project should start moving once again.
Once I have the metal work finished off I plan on blasting the body again then getting a coat of Etch and High Build primer onto it. I will then coat the underside, seam seal it, spray the interior and engine bay before taking it back down off the Rotisserie onto the dollie. At that stage should I just go straight into the FG and Body work or should I get the suspension, steering and drivetrain test fitted for panel alignment and to ensure there are no major structural issues that may need to be looked at?
As far as I know bigger shops like Classic Recreations go start to FG, bodywork after metalwork and primer have been applied.
I would very interested to hear how other people have gone about it..
Thanks,
Johnny
