Planning winter's projects......

This year....

22gal tank
new front springs (yes I'm lowering that front end)
mod power steering lines to prevent wear and leakage
LED instrument lights

So.....
I'll be getting a '70 fuel tank. That's the 22 gal version right?
I need a '70 sending unit right? Any other 'things' I should be aware of?
Oh I know I'll need to 'adjust' the filler neck to align with the '67 neck.

Yup, get the '70 tank and sender...get the kit if they sell it, saves a couple bones. Don't forget the strip-caulk.

And yeah, gotta adjust the filler neck. I had to chop a couple inches off of mine, and bend it a little . I read a lot of "be careful using the broom-stick trick" but that's pretty much what I did, and had no issues.

I have an extra 70 sending unit laying in the garage if you want it. I think it is new.

Yep and if the car doesn't sell, I'll turn IT into a rat pile rod.
