Please say a prayer for our little girl.

We have had a very frightening night on Tuesdayl. We had to take Taylor to the Hospital because she was turning blue and had stopped breathing twice. She has a severe respiratory infection and will likely be in the hospital for at least the next week, but it could be as long as two weeks.

I have to tell you I have never been so scared in my life.

We got her to the emergency room and after her evaluation they called the special pediatric unit from another local hospital. They transferred her via ambulance, lights, sirens, the whole bit. Freaking terrifying!

Yesterday she seemed to be getting better, then she had a major relapse. They had to put her on a resperator and she now has to be feed by tube.

Please keep us in your thoughts

Your family will be in our prayers and I'll also send it out to those I know. You can't have too many people praying. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Thank God you got her to the hospital. Hang in there and please keep us updated. Good luck.

We'll keep Taylor in our prayers, and add her to the prayer list at church. Stay strong and hang in there, we're all pulling for you.

Sorry to hear the bad news Mark.Something like this makes all the problems I am having seem so small. You and your family are in our prayers.Keep us posted when you can.

Sorry to hear about it but thank goodness you got her to the hospital in time. We'll keep praying and keep us posted.

She was a bit older but Ermalyn made a trip to the hospital because of breathing issues. It scares the heck out of you for sure. Your family will be in our prayers as well.

Stay strong Mark, Brings back oh so many memories. Spent close too three months in intensive care with our oldest ( Now 13) You will meet some amazing caring health professionals. You know Taylor's just preping for later in life when she will have to deal with all the men in her life.

You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Mark

Good thing you got her to the hospital when you did! I can't imagine what you're going through, but my thoughts are with you and your family.

Hang in there and stay strong, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I understand that you probably feel helpless right now as I once did, but having been through similar situations when my little guy was first born, I can assure you that they really feel your energy, stay strong, stay positive and talk to her, cheer her on, she can hear you rooting for her.

Thank you all.

Taylor has been taken off of the c-pap and she is back on regular o2. She seems to be getting better all the time. Still no word when we will be moved out of the PICU (typing this on the hospital computer).
