Points life

Just out of curiosity... What is the average life (mileage wise ) on a set of single points ??? :shrug

I have seen from 5 miles to 50,000 plus. I normally liked to replace them at 10-12,000 miles. Cheap and easy for good running.

Any points that I make with the wife last at most a minute...

Did 70 Mustangs have electronic ignition or they were points only?

70's were point only dist.

As for lifespan, with proper installation I have gotten more than 20k without a problem.
Once replaced the old set with the cond went into the glovebox for that must have time if they gave out on the road.
