After a lot of fricken research, I decided to polish out the vertical SS trim that seperates the vent window from the roll up door glass.
Shag's pieces are/were pretty scratched up to the point that when installed with the newly chromed vent window frame, they would stand out like a sore thumb. So either I was going to take the pieces in to a local polisher to do his magical stuff to them and wait....or do them myself.
With a lot of various grades of wet or dry sand paper, different buffing compounds, etc, I chose to tackle one of them today. WTF? I'm in the wrong business!!!! Tomorrow I will do the other side. This will allow me to start loading up the door as soon as Monday. Otherwise if I had chosen to go with a local polisher, I would be waiting for a couple week.
Homey don't play that game!!!!
