power brake booster with wilwoods

I just bought a wilwood front disc 12.19" with the vented rotors. I have manual 4 wheel drums and want to put power brakes in it. I was looking at this booster: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Will this work with my new kit? Im planning on keeping the rears drum and switching to discs later so I need something that will work with both. Anything else I will need to buy to put this kit and booster on?
 
Item has been removed, so can't view the listing. What year car is this going on? If it's a '67/later, you'll need to change the brake pedal. If it says you don't need to change the pedal, that's BS (been there, done that got the t-shirt, then changed out the pedal on SacBill's '67).

If it's a '65/'66, I wouldn't waist my time with doing power brakes. IME, there's just not a noticeable difference, between the power brakes and manual brakes using a '74 Maverick MC and staying manual. The '74 Maverick was one of the few old Fords that came with manual disk/drum brakes, so the MC has a different bore size.

I'm using the Maverick MC in my '66 with manual disk/drum combo (using '70 disk brakes). Lot less clutter in the engine bay, less parts to go bad, and easy to do.
 
Its goin in a 69. So I know I need a brake pedal and proportioning valve. Anything else? Wil the drum brake lines bolt into the wilwood calipers? Probally goin to go with stainless lines anyway.
 
You'll need a power brake pedal hanger, or drill out the captured nuts in your current manual one. No, the flex lines are different between disk and drum lines. You can plan on having to use some adapters on the lines.
 
i just went thru the same thing putting together a brake system for my 69. i went to oreilleys & ordered a replacement MIDLAND booster. if you order the midland, you actually get the desired BENDIX booster with the hard to find spacer plate attached. if you order bendix, you dont get the spacer. total was $120 & i got the correct part for the car that didn't require modification to fit. most of those booster kits on ebay are chinese copies & i don't want to trust my stopping power & my life to those parts. as johnpro stated, you will need a power brake pedal & will need to remove those nuts on the support bracket & drill some holes in the firewall. i have a power brake firewall piece i use for bench mock up that i will be glad to make a hole template from & send you so you will know what holes to drill & which holes need enlarged. go ahead & replace the lines all the way around. no need to screw up those new brakes by trying to modify old rusty lines to fit.

Matt, I am in the middle of going the other way- installing the below MC in my 69. Just yesterday I removed my booster w/ spacer, power pedal, and Wilwood proportioning valve. I have two modern aluminum bodied MCs with the plastic reservoirs from later year mustang applications- one with a 1" bore and one with an 1-1/8 bore. Even the power brake light switch. All of it <5 years old and very functional. Let me know if you need any of it and I'll post some pics.
