Property markers and fencing

guruatbol

Always on vacation!
I just spent an hour looking for my Southwest property marker. That one always is hard to find. I always stop about 100 feet short of it and start looking. today I painted all the markers bright florescent pink so I can easily find them.

I would like to fence it in with a small fence about 3 feet or so but I don't want anything tacky or anything that will break the bank.

I've seen some fencing that uses round wood posts and a vinyl band of some sort, I just don't know where to source it.

Anyone have any ideas? I thought of getting some junk cars and making a car wall, but the neighbors might not like that much.....Chevy's buried nose down the way they should be would piss the neighbors off....hmmmm....

Anyway it is always cool to find the markers and realize there is more there than we thought....

So what are you trying to suggest to Mel, barbed wire or a bunch of skanks with guns?! LOL

For quick and easy, I used metal T posts and ran a single strand of cheap barb wire at the top. Then marked the wire with the green and red marker tape tied every 20 feet or so. I also ran the posts about 40 feet apart to save cost. Each corner marker has a 15 foot tall pipe so it can be seen from a distance. Easy and cheap and not hard to replace wiith a better setup later.

Could not find 5 of the above listed items plus the neighbors frowned on them being staked to the corners.
