Question about parts for my 67 FB

Can anyone help with the following two part that i seem to be missing. (another reason not to buy a stripped down car as your first Mustang :roul)

I noticed in this pic that i do not have this strut that braces the dash. This picture is a 68, but should my 67 have it?

And i dont have these brackets. Again where can i get them?

Johnny,
I like the upside down picture of the dash. Thought it was my brain being upside down.....

If no one chimes in with other suggestions, I'm sure my local mustang wrecking yard has them. Just keep in mind possible postage costs. I don't know if the 67 has that center dash brace but you should be able to tell by just looking at your dash and see if there are holes in the same areas.

hahahahah yea, the upside pic is a car on a rotisserie so that's why i noticed the missing dash brace. I just had a quick look at my car and the holes and bracket are there for a brace so i guess i am missing it.
I just wonder how many other little parts like these i am missing!!! :shrug

If you can get the parts, i have a shipping address in the US where i stock pile my parts before shipping in bulk to little ole Ireland.

Let me know how many beer tokens for parts, your time and shipping.

As always i appreciate the help.

Johnny M, If Craig has the dash bracket, do you still need the front fender brackets?

67's do also have that brace. I think I have an extra one.

Let me know if you find it and we can begin the negotiations over price..... :thu

Yea, I still need them.

Thanks guys.

OK I will contact a couple local Mustang salvage yards. If anyone chimes in to this post and already has them to offer, please PM me so I don't
go and buy them.

Thanks...Will PM if someone else chimes in.....

If only there was a mustang salvage yard in this country!

price is free, I have it. PM your address and if shipping isn't too bad I will send it on it's way

Johnny M, I got the upper fender brackets. And though Craig said he had the dash bracket, I couldn't help but get one of those as well. "It was just sitting there waiting for me to take it". So Craig if you simply want to keep yours and since I'm already mailing to Johnny anyways, I can send mine as well. Will blast them and paint them next couple days. PM me your address.

Naw, just saving Craig the time spent mailing the brace and instead he could be working on my filler neck. See? It's a win / win situation.

And no, my parts to Johnny M are not free. I had to pay for them and will be sending Johnny M my Swiss bank account number shortly. :thu

Thanks Craig! I will hang on to mine for the next guy. And get busy on filler necks this week. It's supposed to be in the 60's and I currently don't have to travel. I spent the day today cleaning the garage so I could work!!!

Oh goodie, goodie for today I media blasted and then shot them with some black Zero Rust to make the trip across the pond. Yes, mounting hardware included.

Awesome :thu :yah :wor....... Did you have much problem finding them?

Its posts like this that cheer me up on a monday morning!!!!

wait a minute, I started out with parts car/shell

I don't think I have either one of those either.....what's up with that?

I just ordered rear side panels, doors, and front fenders from NPD, I guess I need the fender bracket to mount the fenders?
