Question for Dave about Kat's sig pic

Dave,
Every time I see a post by Kat, I can't help but notice the huge sig pic she has selected showing off Gertrude's finer points.

But the problem is, every time I look at that picture, the same thought always comes to mind... "Gee, I wonder what the rest of that fender looks like?"

So the question is, should I ask Kat to get a better picture of that fender or just suck it up and continue to wonder?

With more of the "fender" to look at... there exists the chance that it could be dented/rusted/scratched/faded paint or have otherwise unsightly blemishes. This would ruin any illusions you may have of what the rest of the fender really looks like.

My advice is to enjoy what's visible of the fender.

I'm with Dave on this. We all know a little bondo and rattle can will produce a nice looking 20 footer. Further inspection could result in the discovery of some rot that you'll always be aware of even when looking from 20 feet away. People mask things for a reason.

LOL, this thread has taken and entirely different direction than I intended. When I asked the question about the fender, I actually meant...the fender.
