Question for John/factory tach

John,
Thanks again for the awesome WE gift! The white face 140 MPH speedo from Tach man. I didn't even know he did the white face version.
Anyway, you know I have a Cougar tach that I did the overlay on. I like your new 8K version and was wondering how you like it and the 3 wire set-up etc. etc. Do you think I should send mine in and have him convert it?
Thanks

I like it a lot. It appears to be dead on, even with my pertronix distributor. The only thing I do not like is that it needs voltage to home. If you are idling a 800 and turn off the switch, it stays there until you turn the ignition switch back on, then it homes to zero. Minor but an irritant.

Looking forward to seeing the speedometer hooked up. How close are you going to get it to 140? :dun

I don't know if I can find a long enough straight road to go that fast!

Thanks for the feedback on the Tach. Mine doesn't seam to be accurate. at idle sometimes it drops to zero. I can blip the throttle and it is responsive but definitely seams to be reading low. Plus when I put that nice speedo in there the tach is going to look crappy!
