R.I.P. little friend...

She was a fun little dog. We had her for quite a few years. We believe she was around 17-ish. We adopted her when she was around 5. She had her issues with other dogs but was sweet with people. She wasn't doing too well lately and really started going downhill recently. She was actually going to the vet for euthanasia yesterday but ultimately died in my arms before the appointment. Heartbreaking to say the least. I hope she knew we tried our best to give her a happy life.
She is now with her best buddy Joey who we put down a handful of years ago.
You will be missed....

Really sorry to hear the sad news Chris, they are a part of the family and are truly missed.

Chris, it might be wierd but I ache more when a friend's pet passes away as compared to a human. Sorry to hear about your little friend passing.

Sorry to hear of your little friend's passing, Chris...

Sorry to read about this Chris. I'm sure that little fella brought some stability to your life the past few years.

She's doing better now I'm sure. I was just hoping not to have to bear witness to another pets death in person again. Definitely hard to witness. I'm glad she was not alone though. I tried to comfort her as best I could.....

This is Toni speaking
Oh how sad to read this, especially after our loss
of our dear Miss Gypsy. Your sadness is shared
deeply by us. And, we are sure you did everything your
heart told you to do to comfort her...and more. Don't
ever question that.

Thank you, Toni. I actually thought of you two while going through the last few days of her life.
I look forward to seeing you both at Knott's.
