Ranger window freezes closed?

My Ranger is the absolute worst I've ever owned for having the window freeze so that I can't roll it down. It happens every winter and it really irritating. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

I own a ranger also and what I have done(doesn't always work) is spray some silicone on the lower weatherstrip at the bottom of the window.(the window side of the strip) It works for a while or just pull the strip away from the window before you get into the ranger. It sucks I know because I have had rangers since 86. The silicone works halfway decent.

I have to try something... it froze tonight and I had flashbacks of the aggravation from last winter. Thanks!

I have the same problem with my F150. I will try the slicone spray but I'll be interested to hear other suggestions as well.

Get the cabin heater from JCWhitney and plug it in to the cig lighter and put a battery tender on the battery and you'll never get into a cold car or have a freezing issue again.

Isn't there a solution from ford itself ?
Like a heated resistor that is plugged/screwes into the engineblock and is connected to a 110 volt powersocket from your home??
Cold starts are much easier and interior is warmed up ( not hot ) very rapidly.
