Always on vacation!
Well, I was driving toward Mount Rushmore and noticed an All Ford event in Rapid on July 17th being advertised. Well, that is tomorrow, anyone going to be there from this site?

Mel, I see that you're in my old stomping grounds! I grew up north of there a little ways and went to college in Rapid City. If you get a chance to see Mt. Rushmore after dark, it's pretty cool to see it all lit up with the flood lights. There's lots to see there in the Black Hills. Enjoy!!

I've been to Rushmore so many times, I don't even see the presidents anymore. Seen it at sunrise, after dark and during the middle of the day. Even seen the fireworks....

Been to Bear Country, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, the Badlands park and even been to Scenic multiple times. Been to Deadwood, Custer, Hill City, Keystone, Sturgis, Spearfish and some I can't remember.

This tour series stays in Gillette, WY and drives to Devil's Tower and then to Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Bear Country then to Casper, WY for the night. That is such a long day and when the people are late to the bus it causes me to be real late to the hotel. Oh, I even make it to Lusk, WY....

I just wondered if an fixers would be there and share the pics....

Do you mean seeing it lit up like this?
We saw it in Mid June.... Always cool...

We drove through Casper and Lusk..... into Mt. Rushmore area from the west....
