Rear seat latch cover fitment

How does this cover fasten to the rear
lower panel? There are no brackets behind. I totally forget how I did it to Shag. Cant imagine you would screw into the fiberglas panel itself.

So it sounds like you tweak the latch cover's openings, so they doen't interfer with the latch sliding mechanism, then rivet it into place against the lower panel?

They did just use screws and little washers
