heres another pic"DeadStang" said:If it's the painted blue Mustang in your photo, IMO the rear height looks fine.
they are brand new springs not sure what the PO had done to the springsand i dont have a spare set lying around here so a set of new springs might be in order."Fast68back" said:Are they new springs? its pretty high, I would think if the PO put the wheels on the car, maybe he had the springs arched to obtain that ride height? Maybe either some 4 leaf standard or reverse eyes. The mod John posted is cheap, if you have an extra set of springs to donate some parts.

no standard eyes, will have another go once the snow clears"Fast68back" said:My springs are 5 leaf standard eyes and the car sat pretty high at first, I jacked the car up as high as it would go, loosened front and back (all four on shackle) and dropped the car as fast as the jack would lower it. It dropped a couple inches. Are they reverse eyes?
I have a set of 17 inch coys or edelbrocks eleanor style wheels ready to go car car."daveSanborn" said:I also think the rear end is way too high...... but...... like Pete stated, changing the rear stance is likely going to cause an interference with the those back tires. You'll likely need to get different offset rear wheels if you lower the rear of the car.
