Recent Downtime

Sometime on Sunday afternoon, the website completely stopped working. We are not sure what might have magically changed that made it stop working, but some investigating pointed to a particular file having an error. There are only two people I know of who can change this file...Me and Sluggo. Sluggo hasn't looked at this site since Friday, and I'm pretty darn sure I didn't touch that file. I deleted the file, and by magic, everything started working.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will continue to work to figure out exactly what went wrong.

Thank you for your patience,

Steven

So, was this down time different than the ones in the recent past?

Thanks for the update.

Damn! I logged in, found a new message: a comment on my profile page, and pooof! the site went down.

I swear I didn't do anything!

You don't have to be in work mode when you're on here STEVE. (thanks for all your work though)

And here I thought it was only because I farted.....quietly...

maybe a combination of your fart & the two flies doing the nasty on my deck today threw everything out of balance?? :amaz

And here I was thinking it was a higher power telling me to get off the internet and go work on the car. So I welded a patch in for a fender, then gave up. Heat index of 100+ with 70+% humitity doesn't equal a fun time in the garage.

Same story different forum. I have been doing the forum thing for longer than I would like to admit, but having the forum go down is just something that happens. That is why most of us visit more than one forum. One goes down then we visit another. Or in some cases we actually get off of our arses and go outside and get some work done. :scar

btw Thanks for getting us back up again Steve. :10

No big deal. Those of us that were working in the garage, WHERE WE ALL SHOULD BE ON A SUNDAY, never noticed. By the time we had my daughter's '67 off the jack stands and test driven, the world was back in balance, and I never noticed a thing ... other than how hot, sweaty, and tired I was!!!

Thanks for you hard work, though, steven
