Replacement drive shaft for 65FB c-4 and 8" rear

My project car didn't come with a useable drive shaft. So do I have any salvage yard options? I need a 51 1/16 center eye to center eye shaft. Any one have a good used one after doing a swap? Local shop wants $300 plus to build one and I don't know how much plus. Thanks for your help. Jeff
 
Go to a reputable driveshaft maker and get one made. Forget bone yards and all. You will want to make sure the junkyard part has been balanced, has a good yoke and u-joints installed.... for a few bucks more go the route of having one made balanced and done.
