Replacing broken rocker molding pins ?

What if any is the best way to repair broken pins on the baskside of the rocker molding on a 70 mach 1 ?

Is it something you can stick back on with JB Quick Weld or is there construction involved? Not familiar with the mounting style.

I am missing the pins all together. I removed them in 1979 when I was a kid and obviously did not take care when removing, cause all the pins are broken. Was hoping there was a kit or a trick of the trade to remedy my carelessness.

Stud welder with the an adapter for welding on the pins.

I could be wrong but I think at least the front panels are pot metal, so not sure if welding pins will work. A tip from AlanMcDougall in the end of this VMF thread: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vinta ... color.html

That works for the front fender panels at least, which are the tricky ones IMO.
