replacing wheel studs?

are wheel studs needing replacement like other components? i know i need to do at least 1 on the driver front, but in preparing for new wheels/tires, would it be advisable to replace ALL of them?

I replaced all ten in my rear axle when I broke a couple. Figured I was into the axle anyway and just did it. Having said that I don't think you NEED to unless they have bad threads.

If it were ME, I would replace them all. I also HAD to though, when I upgraded to my new AR Torque Thrust M wheels. The OEM studs were not quite long enough and were only grabbing maybe 2 threads. So out they came, and I installed the extra long ARP studs.

Search my posts, I did a thread on the change, with part #'s, etc.

I replaced mine last winter, they had been on for 5 years. I look at it as just another part that needs replaced periodically.

You need to replace 1, what happens if you only do 1 and then a couple more break later?
