Restored a Slot Machine and picked up a weird Blanket type thing

Restored a Slot machine this weekend that I bought at an estate sale. Only problem that remains is all the writing is in Japanease (have it figured out though). Also, picked up a what looks like a small hand made blanket inside a recessed picture frame. I have no clue what it is but thought my daughter would like it. If any of you guys know what it is please chime in.

My parents have a blanket like that. I think my dad picked it up in Panama 20 years ago or so and if I remember right the story is that it is art made by indigenous people where different pieces of fabric are cut out to form the design. I could be off on what I'm remembering though.

YIKES!!! get rid of the blanket, thats the official VOODOO blanket of the Aztecs... :hide

The fabric is made by the Indians who live on San Blas Island, off the coast of Panama. I've collected a number of their pieces, and love them.

This from a guy who has a PINK broom in his house.

Thanks, now if you guys can interpret the Japanease on the slot machine, I loose my but every time I play it.

Cool slot machine, nice score. I asked my Japanese neighbor what "Hanabi" means, and he said it translates to: "Round-eyes roose rots of money" :hide

He speak da truth. Good thing is I've got the key and can open it up to retrieve what I put in. Now "here's" what gets me, you can set the odds from like 5-6% to like 63%. I must have it set wrong. Just curious, does your neighbour "read" people as they walk by with Japanease tattoo's? I have always wondered if the tattoo artist gives the customer what they ask for? I can see some Japanease exchange Students rolling on the ground laughing their *** off after passing some big muscle bound dude with "I've got a small tweenkie" written in Japanease on his arm. :confu

my two older ones, one original & one i restored, are the same way. there is a lever i can flip that throws the timing off & they won't pay out anything.
