Ride height changes

Making some assumptions here and want some verification or better info.

If a car is aligned perfect, and one does the Arning drop, would the camber be all that is effected other than the ride height? Also, if I remember, this provides about 1/2" drop?

Same question if one cuts the spring to lower the car 1/2" - 1". Is it just the camber that is changed?

I would think the top of the tire would need to be brought towards the center of the car for the correction.

Caster and camber both are likely to change. And no, you can't come over and waste another 2 hours of my time without bringing beer.

The drop is diff for everybody. I've seen one car only drop 1/4" after the new location.

Camber is changed because of the location of the arm on the shock tower. Caster is changed becuase the arm is moved back a bit. There are issues with dive angle ect. but I won't get into that here.

Thanks. After many thoughts and looking, I just was not sure. I did not know the upper arm was moved back in doing the drop. Good info, thanks all.

The Shelby drop template differs between 65-66 and 67+ model years. It's fuzzy, but in one instance the drop is straight down and the other it's down an inch and rearwards approx. 1/4. Checkout the templates to confirm as my memory ain't what it should be.
