Right now I hate windows 8

I am sure I will get more used to it but right now it sucks--I just bought a new hp laptop for work--(mainly the Ford testing) and I have been tempted to smash it on several occasions...breathe in---whew--breathe out.

I have to agree with you Rod. Got the SWMBO a new Toshiba laptop with Windoze 8 and I am not at all impressed with it at all.

I have been using it now for a Month or so. I use XP for work, Vista on my other laptop and 8 on this one.

8 seems to be a bit of a bitch, but when you discover when and where you can click the right or left mouse button, you will see some interesting things happen. Then when you go through the apps and the many things that there are allowing you to make changes, you will see it is more like other forms of windows than first look will reveal.

I am not sure I like the tile thingy!!!!

Windows has been on a downhill slide since 3.0. In fact, ever since DOS 5.0....
 
I haven't seen it in person, but I've watched plenty of videos about it. So far it looks like crap. Seems like Microsoft is still following their pattern. 3.11 worked ok, 95 didn't, 98se worked ok, ME sucked out loud, xp was pretty good, vista sucked ass, win 7 is ok.....guess where 8 falls.
