Ring Brother door handles

Saw them in person in Carlisle, Nice quality but not $270 nice. Not many choices in door handles for classic mustangs, probably why so expensive. With original repops less than $30, its a no brainer. Stock for me.

Those are pretty neat! I just hate seeing something cool after I've bought what I'm going to use. A terrible example is I bought a complete factory power steering system for my stang of which was a pretty steep price, then decided to go with rack n pinion power steering instead! I don't think it's so much the price, cause everything winds up being costly. So if one has 20k into their stang, what's another 2-300. :craz However, since my husband reviewed my debit spending for the past couple years at various mustang/other vendors, I'm kind of cutoff on my spending for neat things! :cry

:wstup I think that they're pretty cool looking. But as said before, I can't see dishing out that much cash. There's lots of other parts that I want to get first.

Yeah but Darreld is running out of things left to buy for his car, so he's moving on to the upper echelon of trick parts :lol :lol

I like them and the price is not that much more that the set or originals I had rechromed a couple years ago. Hope the chrome on those last longer that the repops that I have gotten lately.

I don't know about trick parts. I am now putting together an EVAC system for my engine right now. I hope that it will reduce possible oil leaks from running boost. I don't like the look of the kits out there so I am designing my own. It should look pretty trick. I'm also going to put on Cobra rear brakes in the next few weeks. So I am still working on functional things to improve. Once that is complete who knows. I just don't know where to stop. :lol

I am not sure if door handles are worth almost $300 to me. The quality has to be much better than the repo handles I am using. I have thought the repo handles were crap from day one. I am not sure I like the slot in the Ring Bros handles. That part really doesn'f flow with the rest of the trim on my car. If they were solid I would be more interested. You never know though. I may just post a picture of them on my car some day. :lol

If they operate better than the crappy repops that are out there I would probably do it as well. I'd look at re-chroming the originals first though.

Guys, scoop jealousy is so uncouth.... :eek:mg

You know your correct....................... I think you should go ahead and pull the trigger on the Door Handles and mount them on your hood in place of hood pins :craz Would balance out your hood nicely :nk
