Our little rescue dog Henry passed away this morning. He was sick yesterday, throwing up and the poopies. Thought maybe he just ate something. Still sick this morning. Wife asked me to bring him to the vet, she was already there. So I put him in a small crate, with some rags on the bottom. Handed him off to the wife, and went back home. Then got a text from her that he died. He was bleeding from the back end. She thinks maybe a rawhide perforated his bowel. We got him around 08, and he was already a couple of years old. So this was very unexpected. I try not to get real attached, but I did.
