Road bike Darwin award nominee...

Chain and sprockets make for a bad day!


When my brother was 1- 2 yrs old he did that with my bicycle as I was working on it. Luckily for him, he was so young...no visible signs of it today. Took off the tips of 2 fingers.
 
Nasty! I can't believe someone would try to clean their motorcycle chain while the bike is running AND in gear?!!!

Live and learn... the hard way.
 
Kudos to him for the pics. He needs an invite over here if for no other reason than that. I have a buddy who's 5 yr old boy caught his in the chain of an exercise bike. He lost the end of his finger.
 
With all that we see come through the ER here, the thought of that acutally happening give me the chills. Yikes :scar
 
A Neighbor kid got his fingers cut off by a lawn mower. They found them and took them and him to the ER and sewed them back on. He is able to play the piano again. It is almost like nothing ever happened.
