Rotor recomendation?

Why do you need either? For most driving, even the driving I do (and I drive HARD sometimes) doesn't need any more than a good set of standard rotors with some good pads.

Stay away from drilled rotors on the street. As the rotors heat cycle, they tend to crack around the holes.

Slotted is overkill for most street driving. In addition, it cheese grates the pads and can make more noise with some pads.

Focus on getting some quality rotors (hard to find now at most parts stores) and some good pads. Several companies are making semi-metallic pads for our cars, and Hawk offers a nice upgrade in their street pad.

jking I don't know if I can answer your question but I am using rotors from R1Concepts on the front and back of my car. I don't have any braking problems and the rotors appear to be nice quality. I'd buy them again.

Those look like the ones I'm using too... got all for $160ish delivered. drilled, slotted, plated... so far I've got about 3000 street miles on them without issue. The only nit is that the inner most ring of drilled holes don't pass under the brake pad on the PBR / Cobra front calipers. Can't complain for the money...

Me personally...I'd stay away from drilled, slotted, blingy rotors. I run solid, vented 12" rotors and have never had a brake problem...even at the track. To say my brakes get used hard would be an understatement!

I'm running stock sized frozen rotors that are grooved. I am using them with Porterfield R4 pads.

Where do you get cryo'd rotors?

Cobra Auto and I think Shaun at Street or Track can get them. Mine are from C-A.
