Router bridges and setting up pcs and backup devices

I've got a Netgear R6300 router bridged to my crummy Verizon provided router. the Netgear router provides lighting fast speeds.

The issue I have is that I have a Seagate Goflex backup drive (2 TB) on that network and I cannot get to it from the PC linked via ethernet cable to the primary router (verizon).

The IP addys on the primary network start with 192.168.1.x

The IP addys on the secondary network are set with 10.0.0.X

Subnet masks on both are 255.255.255.0

Can anyone assist? I may not be providing enough information. I'm dangerous - kind of like at the track!

Did you "share" the USB drive so that others on the network can see it?

It seems to me the IP addys are your issue.

I would use addys like 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 and subnet of 255.255.0.0

IIRC the key is in the subnet, but I am not sure. We have a Buffalo router provided by Infowest and a Belkin up stairs to make it easy for us to get connection both up and down stairs.

We are using the 192.168.2.x and 192.168.1.x system. I just can't remember what the subnet is.

I have been out of the networking world for a long time now and my memory is fuzzy.
