Rumble seat in 70 convertible

Sure hope nobody bumps the rear bumper when the rumble seat is in use.....

Another mod to do.....dang.

For some reason this pic reminds me of the JFK assassination...cool idea though.

Pure genius I tell you. [nb]Yes, that IS sarcasm that you read.[/nb]

I can't imagine it would be much fun to ride in that rumble seat. I know the back seat has some serious wind when going down the highway. Maybe a good parade car.

No.....you need a rumble seat for the track.....what a ride that would be.

It'd be too rough on yer him-or-roids

Did anyone notice the license plate? It's a black plate but with 7 characters. Wasn't that plate issued somewhere around 1990, white with blue characters?

looks like it hangs out about a foot or two passed the rear bumper.

Sure, safety wise, it's not a great back seat, but I think it's a cool piece of Mustang history... well, that is if it was really created back in 1970. If that car is in original condition, I think it's a seal at 10k, but we'll see where the bidding ends.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't try driving through Citrus Heights with those plates. You'd be pulled over in a heartbeat, as those plates are sooooo obviously illegal.
