Sad Moment This Morning

I'm in charge of compiling the judges database for MCA for all the National shows each year to determine who has earned a watch and/or numerals for their pins. Today, I've been updating some shows for 2010 that I had missed. What a sad feeling when I went down the list and saw Sam Griffith's name listed as having judged at the Virginia Beach show. Kind of takes your breath away.

Awhile ago I was lurking through some topics here on Stangfix and I came across a reply of Sam.
Although I didn't knew him in person , I too got quit for awhile thinking about him...... , his wife and kids , his parents , ............my brother who passed away at the age of 29 , my dad who passed away due to dimentia .....life in generall .............
I am getting old ...... need to enjoy life more before its too late .....

While those moments can be sad they also help us to keep their memories alive and that is a good thing. The other day Sam's picture popped up in the random image box and caught my attention. Gave me pause for a moment as well.
