Sanborn coming to NorCal

What would Sanborn do? Hell yes, come to NorCal.

Per his Facebook thread he really misses the company of KBMWRS and myself, thus willing to fly out to NorCal just to be with us. No? Maybe I'm stretching it just a little? You think so?

OK, well heads up to all NorCal member. Dave Sanborn and his ever so way better half will be in the SF Bay area on Tuesday October 8th, wanting to have dinner with us. I have no idea as to exactly when and where but this is just an initial heads up.

Apparently they need to be in Arizona for the better half's high school graduation reunion. But being that she just graduated 2 years ago, why does she want to go back so soon?

Anyhoo. Stay tuned.
 
Isn't the SF bay area, the south central of NorCal? There's lots of Cali north of you guys!! :thu
 
Castroville is the center of Calif. and San Fran is 97 miles north of Castroville.

Calif. is 840 miles from top to bottom.

Is San Fran in Northern Calif. or central Calif. ?

If you cut the state in thirds, it's in central Calif. If you cut it in half, it's in northern Calif.

Just sayin'
 
My wife was all excited today. She has to take a business trip to SF in several months and she booked a night tour of Alcatraz. She got the confirmation today. Yeah, okay, whatever!

Yes there is but Dave wants to be amongst the fun NorCal. Eating crab on the wharf. Tour the Tenderloin
section of town, have a beer at the Condor room.

Good point, Craig. If we weren't so far up in the sticks, I'd probably road trip down.

Ok, ok. Sanborn a) on facebook and b) hanging in SF......boy did those bikers ever f'up his brain. Next thing you know he'll be cruising with moped boy.
 
I'm in; see if we can get him to drops his car keys on Castro...or better yet, a visit to Mitchell Brothers.
 
Great news. I hope to be able to meet the legend in person. We should schedule a special NorCal WWSD session while he's here.
