Santa Anna winds

I saw on the news that they found a Green Mankini wrapped around a cell tower in Phoenix. :shrug

I had been in Goleta yesterday n on my way home, ran into strong winds near Carpinteria n called my wife asking about the wind at home. She said there was none. I was in El Segundo yesterday and there was gale force winds.

P.S. My Blackberry is a PIA for making entries....

I drove from Sacramento down to Fresno yesterday and had tail winds all the way. Windy here in Fresno today, but died down late in the afternoon. Talked to SWMBO and it was windy at home. Typical stuff for this time of year. Just hope that we do not have any brush fires.

My wife is in the Pasadena area this week and the power was knocked out more than 24 hours ago and according to the local news, over 450 trees were uprooted causing the area to look like it had been hit by a tornado. We got it pretty good here in Valencia for very short periods of time but nothing compared to Pasadena. One of my health insurance contacts in Pasadena just got power back today at 11:00, my contact said that they have had no power since Wednesday night and trees down everywhere.
