Saw Jeremy's Rat Rod yesterday!

On our way to some CCI puppy training in Kansas City yesterday, I decided it was a prime opportunity to see the progress of the rat rod, so Deb, Ansel and I made a pit stop in Olathe.

J was working away in the sweltering heat and paused just long enough for some chatting and a few pictures.

Pics sure don't convey the level of mad skilzs that have been put into this project. Personally, I think we need to come up with a new description/category for this rod. "Rat" just doesn't do it justice!!

Before we left, Ansel decided to add a personal touch to J's rod with a little "patina" of his own :yah

I had to dig it out of the bottom of the cat's litter box, but it's safely back home now!!

that truck is just so cool!
and I have missed something about the sweatshirt, I see comments about it but I have no idea what you guys are going on about. Is there a story somewhere...?

Sweatshirt......I thought that was his Kansas (aka middle of nowhere) stocking cap with ear muffs.........

Craig,

It's been a running joke ever since I left it there when I helped buff out the paint on the yellow car. That was 2 or 3 years ago now. I left it there and everytime I was in KC or at J's, I'd leave without again.

You did bring Ansel home, right? :roll

Oh yeah! We also brought home another pup; Lassiter is a year old. We'll take care of him to his "real" puppy raiser is ready to have him back (family emergency in Utah).

Hopefully J kept you away from the motor.... :roll

Nice looking dogs and great of you to train them.

J - the truck is looking better every time I see a new picture.
