Saying goodbye to my wife tomorrow.

My wife of 37 years had a massive stroke in the early hours this morning and suffered terminal brain damage.. We have been together since high school and raised one son. Tomorrow I have to tell the doctors to remove the life support as we both agreed to years ago. God this sucks. So many emotions it is hard to even think straight. This is so hard.

You have my heart felt sympathies. My wife passed 17 years ago. I suggest you get help from a bereavement group, if you have such services in your area. I tried a couple before I found one that helped. It gets better over time- you never get over it, but you get used to it. I hope you have family that can help you through this terrible time.
