Lowes just delivered my new Weber Genesis grill!--(yes on a Sunday) I got sick of buying $300. grills every 3 years so I bit the bullet and got an AMERICAN built grill! $866 after tax---it better be a good one.Weber sets the price--699 (no side burner, no quick sear option) --$799. with--add our Il and local tax =$866.

I am so jealous... :sm_BBQ My current grill is a hand-me-down from the MIL. My next grill is going to be a Weber, but not until I get the awning build on my shed. So many projects and not enough motivation. :sm_anyone

I bought my Weber grill for around $350 twenty years ago. Still going strong but is does have the patina of two decades of regular use.

We use ours even in the winter. They start right up, take no time to heat up and cook the food evenly. Your gonna love that grill.
To slow cook ribs we'll sear 'em, then put the ribs on the back half of the grill and use just the front burner on low. Mmm - Good.

Hell, We were there this weekend. Yesterday (Sat) it was wonderful. Today it was the major pits.
