Last weekend, AZPete and I attempted to put on the side bumper supports that go through the fender, but it wasn't even close. Today, I had a brainfart to measure the bumper and compare it to the one on Midlife. Sure enough, the bumper's hole for these side bumper supports is 1/4" to 1/2" closer to the front of the bumper than the Nordan bumper on Midlife. In addition, Pete's bumper has less clearance on each side than the Nordan. So...buyer beware of some of the newer bumpers out there: they simply don't fit.

Today, we spent most of the time working on wiring, putting in a nice new dash cluster and cleaning up some wiring issues. The car has a washer pump, but the wiper switch does not have washer capabilities. We found the wire needed to hook up the intermittent wiper/washer system (oh...BTW, the intermittent wipers could not be turned off! Back to the store it goes!). Someone routed the washer power line outside of the engine compartment for most of its run, and we found this strange connector:

That would have to be answered by johnpro as it came to me on the car....lol

I bet if ole' JohnPro knew that you were going to photo document, etc, everything from his car - he would have doubled the price...

Note to self - never sell anything to anyone on here.

So what you are saying is that what you may try to sell will not stand up to the exam of a StangFix purchaser? Hmmmmm.....note to self.....watch purchases from "some" members...... :scar :lol :lol :lol

That's exactly what I am saying! I don't want you to see any of my half arse workmanship on the 'Stang!

:weas

Well, if it is anything like that ratty rod you're trying to assemble from an erector set, I can see why...... :amaz
