I work for a company that sells a UV lamp used in nail salons. There's a push in California (Hippy Capital USA) to try to regulate (Prop 65) the nail lamps because of the amount of UV exposure to the hands is in their opinion a cancer risk.
I look at these geniuses getting their extire lower faces hit with concentrated UV rays at a state fair and wonder why there isn't a push to regulate these lamps.

Brought to you by the same geniuses that demanded we use cfl bulbs. Now there's studies saying they produce hazardous levels of uv radiation. Oh, and mercury.

These were supposedly at a state fair, how much hygeine is in place there, hopefully they are not right next to the agriculture tents. lol---actually I imagine these will pop up at malls, shopping centers,etc, just like tanning booths now---unless regulations stop them."Laurie S." said:
