Sent the Lightning to jail...done...new pics, 3/6/14

.....paint jail that is. It will remain the stock white with some unique striping on the sides. Real tired of the green cover on a white truck plus this gets rid of the deep marks from when it got keyed before I bought it. Two weeks promised....I figure 3. Local painter does a lot of work for a Mustang restorer here and several are surprised I could get him to do mine.

I love the 2000+ act lightning. I was looking for one to buy then I got a friend that asked me if I would be interested in club cab cummins 4x for cheap and went that route

Well....MS paint and I don't get along....but this is a shot of the truck that I am stealing the stripe style from. The black will be Comp. Orange with black edge and the red stripe will be grabber green with yellow edge.....at least that is the current plan. No two tone and my truck is a stock body and suspension rig.

lol.....typical week 4 on a 2 week paint job. The rain and cold screwed the painting time some plus normal parole denial.

Paint is going on today and tomorrow depending on rain plus we had a change of plans on the stripes.....going two tone now.

Ford Competition Orange from 04 Mustang MACH1 and the stock trucks Oxford White. Only pic for now as it is inside for an alternator and battery replacement.

Definitely looking sharp but I find that now I'm actually a little disappointed that there is no ZZ stripe on it. :dun
