Shag has new ext door handles

Today, I installled the door locks and exterior door handles:

During the day, I kept feeling someone was looking over my shoulder, giving me crap. Just a feeling:

FYI, I just pushed the button on my after market drivers door handle and the button fell inside. Took things apart and found the screw that holds the plate in place had backed clear out. That is the plate that holds the button, spring, and plunger in place and hooks to the open rod. I checked the passenger side and it was a bit loose too. Seems someone was asleep on the assembly line......
 
Looks great! Nice condition too! I went the concours repro route with original guts and so far so good.

I didn't like the repro hinge flapper thingy, so I used Shag's originals.
 
Nice to see Waldopro giving a hand in assembly and picturing!
 
That's hilarious.

I took the advice of Charles Turner and used the guts of my original handles in the bodies of the repro handles. I could see exactly what he was talking about that the repro guts are crap and very prone to sticking and falling apart.
