sounds like I am the exception though! Good luck, I know it sucks waking up feeling like you just went to bed!"LSTCUP" said:Craig, sorry to hear the crap you went through and still have it !
"tarafied1" said:I also have sleep apnea. I tried the cpap machine but it didn't work for me. My ear, nose and throat doc said I had a deviated septum which caused restriction in air flow in my nose. He recommended a surgery where they removed my uvula, tonsils, part of my upper pallet and fix my septum. He said it would help with the snoring too. It was a very painful week or so for recovery but I survived. Bad thing now is i get choked really easy. It didn't fix the apnea and didn't totally fix the snoring either but it is better. I still can't breath fully through my nose so I guess I am just screwed.

yeah, it is why it was there. It's a real problem. I have to be super careful when I eat and drink and even swallowing my own saliva."gwstang" said:How the heck do you swallow liquids without having it go up into the hole in the back of the throat? I thought that was what it was there for to block that when you swallow?
