Smokin' exhaust system deal

So how come I see a price of 459.99?

OH @#!*!!! I ordered one on my phone this morning, now I went back to look at it more closely and it says it doesn't fit convertibles! :wtf

What would I need to do to make it fit? Is it because of the torque boxes on the verts?

Probably the seat pan supports under the car. Might be worth trying it out at that price? If not, Amazon is great about returns, or have a local muffler shop tweak it.

That is the reason.
I bought a 2 1/4 kit from a parts vendor and had a clearance problem in the tunnel. Not enough room for the fits-all intermediate pipes and a drive shaft with the support pan there. I did use the rest of the kit but had to have a muffler shop fab the mid pipes, tweak the tailpipes and connect it all to the shorty headers. If I had to do it again, I'd let them fab all of it. Would have cost less.

Because the 3 Amazon had in stock are gone and that's the lowest price of the other vendors that carry it.

Looking at it again it says they have 1 left in stock. Maybe they figured out they were way underpriced.

I'm sure you could find somebody here willing to pay your cost plus shipping to fix your mistake.
 
Well, I guess I will take a look at the kit when I get around to pulling the motor this winter.
Most likely it will end up in the classifieds next spring. :shrug
